In the hours after last year’s terrorist attacks, Americans filled churches and blood donation centers.Then a patriotic resurgance swept the land.By the end of the week stores were sold out of American flags.Red, White, and Blue became a badge of honor on t-shirts and bumperstickers.We begin our series on September 11th’s aftermath with a look at patriotism and pop culture.Patty Murray reports.
