US Sailor’s Remains Going Home Nearly 70 Years Later

Yesterday was Pearl Harbor Day, the 67th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Hawaii which thrust the United States into World War Two. The next day, December 8th, Navy Ensign Robert Tills of Manitowoc was killed when his craft was sunk defending the Philippines.But his remains were left unfound and unidentified… until this spring.His remains will be buried with full military honors next spring. His only living relative today, his sister Jean Aplin, joins Terry Bell….
