Up and Coming Country Artist Stops in WI

Tift Merritt has been knocking around the country music scene for about four years, but the 27-year-old Texas native is still a relative unknown.Merritt will perform in Milwaukee tonight after stopping in Middleton this past weekend. Her style has been called a mix of “early Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris and Bonnie Raitt”.NPR’s David Schulman has this profile.
