‘Anthropause: The Beauty of Degrowth’
In the spring of 2020, the world paused. We stayed home and hunkered down, all in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Meanwhile, nature flourished. Carbon emissions fell and animals came out of hiding to explore front yards and city streets. This so-called “anthropause” inspired writer Stan Cox to wonder: What if we slowed down, for good?
