1. Drawing will be conducted on or after noon on Thursdays each week with the winner notified on the following Friday.
2. A single name will be “drawn” from the list of current Wisconsin Today Newsletter subscribers in the Mail Chimp database as of 12 noon on Thursday of each week.
3. The name will be identified using a random number generator based on the number of subscribers in the database at the time of the drawing.
4. The “winner” will be notified by email and have 30 days to respond and claim their prize. WPR will send three emails to the “winner.” If they do not respond within 30 days of the first email, they will forfeit their prize and no winner will be named for that drawing.
5. No person is eligible to win more than once in a 12 month period. If a previous winner’s name is drawn during that period, they will be disqualified and another name will be drawn using the same method noted above.
6. To claim their prize, a winner must provide WPR with their full name, phone and valid mailing address. They may be asked to provide a photo and promotional message about why they subscribe to the Wisconsin Today Newsletter, but it is not necessary to claim their prize. Prize winners must agree to the potential disclosure of their name and city for internal and potential public communications.
7. Prizes will be sent by post to a single address provided by the winner. WPR will cover shipping costs.
8. Prizes will be chosen by WPR and not exceed $50 in value. Examples may include WPR promotional items such as t-shirts, playing cards, drinkware, buttons, stickers, books, etc. If an item of clothing is provided, WPR will seek the winner’s preferred size, but no exchanges will be allowed.
9. Only subscribers to WPR’s Wisconsin Today Newsletter email list are eligible to win.
10. Employees of WPM, ECB and their immediate families are not eligible to win. ECB, WPRA and Friends of PBS Wisconsin board members and their immediate families are not eligible to win. If one of their names is drawn, they will be disqualified and another name will be drawn using the same method noted above.
11. This promotion and these drawings may be cancelled at any time for any reason by Wisconsin Public Radio and without notice to subscribers or the public.
