The internet has made many things easier – including making it easier for jurors to break deliberation rules. In other parts of the country, there have been mistrials when jurors have done online research about their trials, or written about trials on blogs or social networking sites. In Wisconsin, the legal system is trying to stay ahead of any potential problems by recommending new rules to judges on how jurors may and may not use their computers.
