The mother of a Wisconsin Iraq war veteran is on a mission to get better treatment for soldiers who suffer from post traumatic stress syndrome like her son. Georgia Stillwell says her meeting with U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert last month gives her hope that even staunch supporters of the war can be moved by stories of the damage it’s doing to soldiers like her son.
