Does our current method for counting COVID-19 cases produce an accurate picture of the pandemic’s severity? We talk with a doctor who make the case to be more exacting with whom we test for the virus. We also discuss whether we should start celebrating fewer official holidays and put more emphasis on our personal milestones.

  • A Case For Changing The Way COVID-19 Case Numbers Are Counted

According to our guest, too many people in America are being tested for COVID-19. As a result, the number of positive cases is being inflated in a misleading way. We look at what he says is contributing to the overtesting of the virus and what America’s approach should be going forward.

  • Make Your Own Milestones And Celebrations

We recognize and celebrate many holidays and annual celebrations i.e. birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, anniversaries etc., but there are many more unique-to-each-person things to honor. We talk with a guest who says we should consider celebrating or honoring milestones, anniversaries including things like: anniversary of living in a new place, anniversary of buying a house, a new crush, 6 months past a bad breakup/divorce, going on a first date, a mourning anniversary, celebration of a job promotion, celebration of quitting (anything!), and more.
