Pianist heals from stroke and performs again
After pianist and composer Haskell Small suffered a severe stroke in 2021, the piano turned out to be an instrumental part of his recovery. Now, he’s touring the country for a “Celebration of Healing,” to raise awareness about stroke warning signs. We talk with him ahead of a Milwaukee performance.
