Norman welcomes pianist Jessica Jiang to the WPR performance studio. She is one of the finalists from the 2018 Final Forte competition sponsored by the Madison Symphony Orchestra. The finalists were initially part of the Bolz Young Artist Competition. She started playing piano when she was four years old and is just finishing 9th grade at Memorial High School in Madison. This summer she’ll be performing at the Green Lake Festival and Concert on the Green in Madison.

She performs Schumann’s Romance op 28 no 2 F Sharp Major; the first movement of Ravel’s Sonatine; Bach’s Prelude and Fugue No. 5; Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu and the first movement of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 3 in C.
