This weekend’s edition of TOS centers on conventional forms of folk music around the globe linked to various cultures used for special occasions, historical and commemorative settings like births, funerals, love relationships – good and bad, war, weddings, and markers of remembrance for the harvest that in all display a community’s long held customs, identity, and belief systems.
