This week, NPR has been reporting on the health of state pension funds around the country.Nebraska is doing pretty well, Kansas not so much…and in Illinois, the situation is downright dire.The matter is of utmost importance to teachers and other public-sectors workers who depend on state pensions for a comfortable retirement.To see how Wisconsin’s fund is doing, WPR’s Terry Bell talked with David Stella, the Secretary of Wisconsin’s Department of Employee Trust funds.
