Safe Ride Program

The state is launching a publicity campaign to tout a program that gives free cab rides to people who are too drunk to drive. The “Safe Ride” program gave out almost 17-thousand rides between the summers of 2002 and 2003. As more people learn about the program traffic officials hope more rides will be given… and more drunken driving crashes are prevented.Patty Murray has more…
