Members of the Menominee Indian tribe are eligible for a new federal program that makes buying a house more affordable.People living on reservations have had trouble getting loans from traditional lenders because the land is held in trust and can’t be used as collateral. The Menominee say the new program will mean more affordable housing on tribal lands.Patty Murray reports.
