The COVID-19 vaccine is available for children 5 and up, but not everyone is ready to vaccinate their child or grandchild against the disease.

Health officials across the globe said the shots for kids ages 5 to 11 are a major breakthrough for the coronavirus pandemic that upended people’s lives and disrupted education.
