- 3 Cups Old-fashioned oats
- ¾ Cup Flaked coconut
- ½ Cup Toasted wheat germ
- ¼ Cup Oat bran
- ¼ Cup Sunflower seeds
- ¼ Cup Slivered almonds
- ¼ Cup Chopped pecans (or walnuts)
- 2 Tbs Sesame seeds
- ¼ Cup Honey
- 2 Tbs Olive oil
- 2 Tbs Frozen concentrated orange juice
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Dried cranberries (or dried blueberries)
- ¼ Cup Chopped dates
- ¼ Cup Apricots
- 3 Tbs Raisins
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients and mix well.
- In a smaller bowl, combine the honey, oil, orange juice concentrate, vanilla extract and salt.
- Mix well and then pour over the dry ingredients.
- Spread oat mixture onto a ungreased baking pan.
- Bake for seven minutes and stir.
- Bake another seven minutes and stir again.
- Cool completely.
- Add the cranberries, dates, apricots and raisins to the cooled mixture and stir well.
- Store in air-tight containers until ready to serve.*
