Apple Salad Fall Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch Romaine lettuce
  • 3 slices of bacon (I cut mine in half)
  • 1 pear
  • 1 Honeycrisp apple
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/4 cup Poppy Seed or other Salad Dressing

  1. Chop the bacon up into small pieces and then cook them until they’re golden brown. Remove from heat and drain on paper towel.
  2. Next, wash and chop romaine lettuce
  3. Dice pear and apple into small chunks
  4. Place lettuce in a large bowl and then add the pear, apple, bacon, walnuts, dried cranberries, and Gorgonzola cheese, and toss them well.
  5. Drizzle on favorite dressing and give it another good toss.
