Wisconsin Dells is iconic.

People flock there during the summer and spend long-weekends there in the winter time at the spa or indoor water park — as if they’re willing summer to hurry up and return.

WHYsconsin received a question asking, “When was Wisconsin Dells built?” We plan to answer that question. We’re also going to dive into how the Dells workforce has evolved and how that factors into the story of the region.

But one thing we also really want to get at are your memories.

We want to hear from you: what memories do you have of Wisconsin Dells? Maybe it’s a tradition to visit a water park there each year. Maybe it was a tradition for your family years ago. Or perhaps it’s a memory of seeing the Tommy Bartlett water ski show, which has since shuttered, one time and being inspired to try and get up on skis yourself. Maybe you worked there for a summer or two, or you work there now!

Share your memories and experiences with us — and share your questions about Wisconsin Dells, too!
