In recent years, transgender rights have come under scrutiny in Wisconsin government.

Last year, legislators introduced a bill that would prohibit trans athletes from playing on K-12 and college sports teams that align with their gender identity.

This week, legislators introduced a bill that would prevent trans youth from getting gender-affirming care.
