Saturday matinee broadcasts of The Metropolitan Opera begin Dec. 6

Opera fans will rejoice at the return of The Metropolitan Opera Matinee Broadcasts each Saturday at noon. The new season, airing on WPR Music, begins Dec. 6 with Giacomo Puccini’s “La Bohème.” 

Other highlights for the season include a special celebration of Handel for the holidays, the broadcast premieres of “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay” and “El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego,” then later this spring a Listener’s Choice broadcast.
