  • What happened Thursday in Congress

Keeping the government open, keeping the government from defaulting — these were just a few of the major tasks before Congress on Thursday this week. We take a look at what happened with each of them.

  • Checking in on conditions at Fort McCoy, legal aid to Afghan refugees

Members of Congress have called for an investigation into conditions at Fort McCoy, after reports that the base lacked adequate food for Afghan refugees staying there, among other issues. We talk to the reporter behind the story, and talk to a group working to provide legal aid to refugees.
