Thousands of Wisconsin Badgers fans are gathering in Indianapolis prior to Monday night’s NCAA men’s basketball championship game against Duke University.
The Badgers fans cover a range of ages, from older groups arriving in recreational vehicles and rented limousines to college students piled into cars.

“I mean, we haven’t been to a national championship since 1941, and this is like a historic event. I mean, you have to go,” said Marquardt.
The Duke Blue Devils will try to deny the Badgers their first men’s basketball championship in 74 years. Duke easily beat Michigan State in its semifinal match on Saturday, while Wisconsin narrowly won against Kentucky.
