Chuck Quirmbach

Chuck Quirmbach was a Milwaukee-based reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio for over 35 years. He covered developments and issues in Southeastern Wisconsin that were of statewide interest. He gained numerous years of experience covering state government, elections, the environment, energy, racial diversity issues, clergy abuse claims and major baseball stadium doings. He was a frequent contributor to National Public Radio and several other regional or national radio outlets. He won several individual awards, and several as part of a collaboration with other reporters.

Chuck retired from WPR in July 2018 and is now working for Milwaukee Public Radio station WUWM as Innovation Reporter, covering developments in science, health and business.
