Whenever I see one of those alluring Television ads summoning me to the beauty, culture and adventures waiting to be experience on the Hawaiian Islands, I fall prey to the screen – frozen by edifying images of women dancing the hula, the comforting sound of steel guitars – including stringed guitar-like ukuleles providing dreamy pastoral melodies scored with the distant – audible – pulse of the surf against smooth sand with lingering warm breezes, affirm why Hawaii’s pastoral name is nearly synonymous with the word “Music”. –Jonathan
