November 30 at 10 am, Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51 takes a look at the national opioid crisis and how it is affecting central Wisconsin with Melissa Moore, Drug Free Communities Program Coordinator; Sheila Weix, Director of Substance Abuse Services for the Family Health Center of Marshfield Clinic; and Wendy and Moriah Rogowski, Marathon County residents who have been affected by drug addiction. Host Glen Moberg will ask the panel about their work or experiences with drug abuse. We will also discuss the many different approaches to combating this epidemic.
