This Thursday, May 28th at 10 am, Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51 looks at the possible impact of state budget cuts on community health care clinics. Host Glen Moberg will moderate a discussion with Greg Nycz, executive director of the Marshfield Clinic’s Family Health Center and Laura Scudiere, executive director of the Bridge Community Health Clinic of Wausau.
The clinics, which serve the poor and low-income patients, are facing steep reductions under the proposed state budget, which could force them to cut back services and lay off workers.
