Since the beginning of 2022, the USDA reports that more than 3 million chickens in Wisconsin have been hit by the avian influenza outbreak. The latest confirmed case was reported back in November. Is Wisconsin in the clear? A UW-Madison professor shares an update on the poultry industry, including egg prices.
