Hawaii – the 50th state in the U.S. and probably the only one in the Union whose very name is almost synonymous with the word “music”. Just mention Hawaii and images of women dancing the hula, the comforting sound of steel guitars and ukuleles providing languorous pastoral melodies and, the distant audible pulse of the surf against smooth sand, comes to mind.
