Norman welcomes William Florescu, the general director of the Florentine Opera, to the WPR studios. Its 83rd Season continues including Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” on March 17th and Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee. He also discusses the next season which will include Lehár’s “The Merry Widow” followed by a pairing of early English Baroque operas with John Blow’s “Venus and Adonis” and Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas.”
