Listen to The Metropolitan Opera on WPR Music

Join WPR for the 2024-25 season of Metropolitan Opera matinee broadcasts from Lincoln Center in New York City, airing every Saturday starting at noon, through June 2025. 

Season highlights will include Met premieres of Jeanine Tesori’s “Grounded” and John Adams’ “Antony and Cleopatra,” new productions of classics like Guiseppe Verdi’s “Aida” and Richard Strauss’ “Salome,” and other favorites including “The Magic Flute” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giacomo Puccini’s “La Bohème” and Georges Bizet’s “Carmen.”
