Milwaukee’s Urban Ecology Center Connects Youth With Nature

Milwaukee’s Urban Ecology Center got its start in a double-wide trailer in Riverside Park, a neglected urban green space during the early 1990s. Now it’s a flourishing environmental education and nature center attracting youth from nearby neighborhoods to explore science through hands-on experiences and mentorship.
