International Crane Foundation reports on whooping cranes and highly pathogenic avian influenza
Late last month, a female whooping crane named Ducky died from highly pathogenic avian influenza. Her death was the first time a whooping crane has died in North America from this flu. Now, scientists at the International Crane Foundation are working to safeguard the remaining flock. We get an update from the organization.
