When Thad’s daughter expresses an interest in learning the piano, he searches far and wide for a school that teaches the joy of music, not the competition. During a walk near his favorite church, he discovers la Schola Cantorum, a private performing arts school hidden in a shabby mansion. The school, he soon learns, has a storied past of having a staff consisting of some of the history’s famous composers in history.
