Sara passes the home of the Large Family who are saying goodbye to their father as he leaves for Moscow to find Sara Crewe. Later, Ram Dass and Mr. Carrisford’s secretary take an inventory of Sara’s attic room with plans to bring her imaginings to life. After arriving home late, Sara learns that she will receive no supper and goes to her room to find Ermengarde.
