A Little Princess 1 of 17 – Miss Minchin’s Select Seminary

Sara Crewe, a wealthy and imaginative young girl, is brought from India by her father to start at Miss Minchin’s boarding school in London. Although her father does his best to ease her transition by lavishing her with gifts, Sara is sad to be left behind. The strict headmistress, Miss Minchin, is initially welcoming but Sara rightly believes it is only because of the her father’s wealth.
