Understanding Wisconsin's new wolf management plan
Last week the Wisconsin Department of Resources’s new wolf management plan was approved. The new plan does not set a population goal for wolves in the state, a provision that GOP lawmakers oppose. The previous wolf management plan set a population goal of 350 wolves; the state is now at 1,000. An expert explains.
