State audit of medical assistance programs does not find evidence of widespread fraud

Wisconsin’s medical assistance programs like BadgerCare have increasingly relied on private contractors to keep up with a growing caseload according to an audit released today. But the audit did not find the widespread fraud that some critics had insisted was there. Shawn Johnson reports.
