Madison officials gather to pass resolution against Walker’s plan

Madison officials against proposed restrictions on collective bargaining by the state have approved city union contracts lasting until 2012.Last night’s action was described as a bold move against a Republican governor, and one that could hurt Madison both politically and economically.
