Gov. Scott Walker says he remains focused on Wisconsin, despite having spent part of last weekend in Las Vegas helping GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz.
Walker recently endorsed the Texas senator, and has been helping Cruz campaign. Over the weekend in Nevada, Walker and Cruz spoke to the Republican Jewish Coalition, and also at a dinner held by Cruz’s political action committee.
The governor said he may occasionally continue to help Cruz.

“But really, my time and my focus is here in the state of Wisconsin,” Walker said. “I had already agreed to speak to the Republican Jewish Coalition. So, since they were there, we added an additional event along the way. It wasn’t anything more than that.”
Walker said that in Las Vegas, he spoke about the future of the Republican Party.
Tuesday, Walker plans to be talking up investment opportunities in Wisconsin when he travels to the District of Columbia to speak to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
