Sen. Tammy Baldwin said she believes fellow Democrat Russ Feingold is likely to run for Senate next year.
Both Republicans and Democrats are looking for clues as to whether Feingold is aiming to win back the Senate seat he once held, presumably in a contest against GOP incumbent Ron Johnson, who unseated Feingold in 2010.
Asked whether Feingold should enter the race, Baldwin said,“I think Russ is thinking about it. I think he’s likely to do it. He is an old friend and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we were to hear an announcement later.”
