Impeachment proceedings resume today in the Illinois Senate against Governor Rod Blagojevich.He’s already been impeached by the Illinois House, and has been indicted for trying to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President Obama.
Another recent Senate appointment, in New York state, was much less controversial, but fraught with its own problems.
