Washington Island smells wonderful in July

Lavender fields a treat for nose and eyes!

By

Last year at this time daughter Emily and I spent a week in Door County and enjoyed hiking in the state parks, golfing, an afternoon at Hands on Art, and a great trip to Washington Island to see Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm. The Lavender was nearing peek bloom (July and August) and you should definitely make the trip! It’s a beautiful setting and the sights and smells are wonderful. You can enjoy some lavender infused drinks, purchase soap and other products and food infused with lavender. And Washington Island is a wonderful place to visit, in and of itself!

Cheers,

Larry
