State Senate Democrats will likely pass a budget later today (6/26) that completely revamps Wisconsin’s healthcare system.It would offer universal coverage, paid for through a $15-billion-dollar payroll tax.
While labor unions embraced the plan, business groups and Republicans both called it a “job killer.”It also got a lukewarm reception from Democratic Governor Jim Doyle.Shawn Johnson reports…
