Referendum Foes March Out Their Troops

Opponents of a local referendum on bringing U.S. troops home from Iraq are hoping the stories of soldiers will help turn out the student vote to defeat the April ballot measure in Madison. College Republicans on the Madison campus last night hosted panel of young Iraq war veterans who called the referendum a slap in the face to both the troops and the Iraqi people. Gil Halsted reports…
