A Wisconsin utility’s plan to develop one of the nation’s largest coal-fired power plants will get more public scrutiny this week. The Department of Natural Resources and the state Public Service Commission will hold meetings about the state’s latest review of WE-Energies’proposal to expand its power plant in Oak Creek. Chuck Quirmbach reports that opponents of the project plan to highlight a concern they raised over the weekend.
