Educators and students led off testimony at a final public hearing held by senate Democrats on the Governor’s budget repair plan.While the governor says he’s sparing education, they say planned cuts and a levy freeze are a threat.The hearing in La Crosse was sponsored by senate budget committee members in response to proposed budget cuts for state and local government.
