The well-preserved skeleton of a prehistoric elk found in a far northern Wisconsin lake isn’t so prehistoric after all.Carbon dating shows the elk to be from the time of Columbus…about 500 years old, instead of 10,000 years old as was first believed.Mike Simonson reports from Superior.
