Memorial Mile Honors Dead Soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq

For the third time in two years the Madison chapter of Vets for Peace will install a mile long visual representation of the human cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. This year the memorial mile, comprised of more than 4 thousand plastic tombstones, will change venues . It will stretch along the edge of the Forest Hill Cemetery ..the resting place of hundreds of past wars. Gil Halsted reports…
