Long term Gaming Compact for Oneida Tribe

A deal between the state and the Oneida Indian Tribe could mean ’round the clock gambling. The Oneida tribe is the first to re-negotiate its gaming compact with the state. Tribes have called for longer compacts than the current five-year agreements. And Governor Doyle wants to increase tribes’ gaming payments to 237 Million dollars over the next two years.Patty Murray has more.
