La Crosse “social detox” programs will try to combat alcohol abuse

Several alcohol-related drownings of young, college-age men prompted the city of La Crosse to enact a public drunkenness ordinance and look for alternatives to deal with alcohol abuse. Now La Crosse County says it’s an issue the county at large will deal with as well. Sandra Harris reports…
